Nicolas Pepe arrived in London to undergo medical examinations and to finalize the personal terms before his transfer to Arsenal from Lille.
Arsenal has already agreed a transfer fee of £ 72 million.
The 24-year-old should be announced shortly by the Gunners after signing this week.
