According to rumors, the Argentine phenomenon with a contract until 2021 would be open to discussing an extension on an annual basis with the “Blaugrana”

Lionel Messi plans to stay in Barcelona despite this week’s public rows with sports director Eric Abidal.

Sources close to the 32-year-old have assured Sky Sports News that he is not planning on leaving Camp Nou this summer and remains determined to see at least his current contract.

Messi’s agreement lasts until 2021 and is open to discuss an extension, although the attacker is not in a hurry and would prefer to do so on an annual basis.
