Gibraltar-headquartered MoPlay has become the latest online gambling operator to join the German Betting Association (DSWV).

The announcement, confirmed by DSWV President Mathias Dahms and MoPlay CEO Juergen Reutter this morning, will see MoPlay join Sky Bet, William Hill, bet365, Paddy Power Betfair and Interwetten as a member of the organisation.

Dahms celebrated the announcement: “We welcome MoPlay in our association welcome and look forward to win the international start-up, which is run by experienced managers from European iGaming sector as a powerful new member.”

The Addison Global-subsidiary has been active in Germany since 2018, having also secured a presence in Austria, Great Britain, Ireland and other international markets.

MoPlay CEO Juergen Reutter added: “As a new member of the German Sports Betting Association We expressly to Germany and we will participate in the discussion on the future regulation of sports betting. Our innovative product for betting with a focus on mobile devices, combined with our young brand will also be in Germany growth drivers.”

Since entering the German market, MoPlay has cemented a sponsorship agreement with Berliner Sport-Club e.V.
