Enada Rimini show postponed as a consequence of Coronavirus advance in Italy

In a very responsible decision, in order to take care of the safety of exhibitors and attendees, organizers IEG and SAPAR decided to move forward the date from original March 11-13th.

One of the most important gaming exhibitions in Southern Europe, and originally settled for March 11-13th in Rimini, Italy, the 32nd edition of Enada Spring, the International Exhibition of Entertainment and Gaming Equipment, will not take place in a couple of weeks, as planned. Due to the emergency that is affecting the northern regions of the country, including Emilia-Romagna (where Rimini is situated), co-organizers Italian Exhibition Group and SAPAR, Italian Trade Association of coin-op operators, moved fast to prevent any possible harm to the thousands of executives from all over the world that were going to attend the fair.

In the hope that this health emergency will be soon resolved, organizers are analyzing future dates for Enada, such as late April-early May or even September.

Currently, Italy reported 7 dead and more than 220 infected of Coronavirus (COVID-19), the vast majority of them in the regions of Lombardy and Veneto. Emergency measures are being imposed all over the country, and also in the rest of Europe. In Italy, authorities are desperately trying to lock down the spread of the disease. Considered that the outbreak is focused on Italy’s industrial and financial areas, some analysts warned that the virus could damage Italy’s fragile economy, leading it into its fourth recession in 12 years.
