Betting on Sports Europe to focus on industry’s crossroads moment

The approach the sports betting industry needs to adopt as it heads towards a crossroads moment that will determine its long-term future is the central theme of the Betting on Sports Europe 2020 conference, which takes place at Stamford Bridge, London on 2-4 June.

The event will take place as the industry comes under an unprecedented level of pressure from both politicians and the media across Europe, leaving it to make significant decisions on a range of key regulatory and operational challenges.

SBC’s renowned Betting on Sports events have established themselves as the leading forum for the sector’s primary decision makers and this year’s European edition will build on that status, with a heavyweight agenda focused on the difficulties facing the industry, complemented by the strongest speaker line-up the sector has ever seen.

More than 200 acclaimed speakers will take part in Betting on Sports Europe, sharing insights on the challenges and threats faced by operators, and working to devise solutions that will help to shape a sustainable future for the industry.

They will be joined at the home of Chelsea FC by an audience of more than 2,000 senior executives from the continent’s major operators and state lotteries, regulators, innovative suppliers and sports integrity specialists.

With tracks dedicated to industry leadership, sports integrity, responsible marketing, lotteries, payments & compliance, trading, esports, horse racing and football, the conference addresses the difficulties the betting industry faces, as well as staging a CEO panel examining how operators can work together to respond to these issues.
