This year’s SBC Summit Barcelona will once again bring together the top thought leaders from the industry’s hottest affiliates, the biggest media platforms, and the most innovative marketing suppliers and agencies, who will converge in the dedicated ‘Affiliate, Marketing & Media Zone.’

The zone aims to provide 15,000 delegates with valuable insights into the latest trends, regulatory challenges, and technological advancements in the realm of affiliate marketing.

Scheduled to be hosted at the Fira de Barcelona Montjuïc from 19th to 21st September, the ‘Affiliate, Marketing & Media Zone’ will offer attendees an exclusive stage and conference agenda focused on crucial topics in affiliate marketing. These discussions will encompass licensing matters, SEO best practices and reflections on ensuring fruitful media partnerships. The exhibition area within the zone will showcase global affiliate businesses, cutting-edge operator affiliate programs and the latest media services and products available in the market.

Zone attendees can also utilise a variety of dedicated networking areas, including the ‘Affiliate Leaders Lounge’ sponsored by bet365. In this zone, attendees will get the opportunity to forge connections with Heads of Affiliates, Marketing and SEO Directors, representing both established and up-and-coming affiliates and operator affiliate programs.

The zone’s stage, which is one of seven across the summit, will host two dedicated conference tracks. The Affiliate Focus track will take place on the first core day, and will centre on the various elements of affiliate marketing such as entering new markets, negotiating player value and interoperating marketing strategies. The second day will feature the Marketing & Media track, which will shift the focus to the technology and services that dominate the discourse, with topics on SEO strategic implementation, CRM automation and harnessing AI.

During the session titled, ‘Affiliate Leaders Panel – Leading Partnerships In Emerging Markets,’ panellists Johan Svensson (Co-founder, Raketech & Bethard Group), Jesper Søgard, (CEO, Better Collective) and Jonathan Edelshaim, (CEO, Natural Intelligence), will discuss the challenges of entering new markets and educating them on affiliation, whilst also shedding light on the successful methods that have been implemented to instil trust in new markets and allow for seamless entry. 

The ‘Affiliate Voice – The Value Of The Player’ panel will focus on the complexities involved in negotiating fair player value rates between affiliates and operators. Panellists  Sirp De Wit (CEO, Inovatiq Ltd), Peter Gunni (COO, Traffic Lab), Sebastian Erfurth (COO, Casino.online) and Havard Lehn (Co-founder, Nordic Affiliates), will guide delegates in utilising data to determine a player lifetime value and how to resolve negotiation disputes to ensure all parties are benefiting.

‘Marketing Leaders – Combating challenges,’ will discuss the challenges marketing leaders face and how they combat them to stay ahead of the curve. Industry experts David Plumi (CMO, Luckia Gaming Group), Carmelo Mazza (CEO, Betaland), Christine Debono (Marketing Director, Videoslots) and panel moderator Catie Di Stefano (Director of Community Marketing, OnlineGamblers.com) will look at successful examples of navigating intricate and continually evolving compliance standards, and the implementation of new technology and social strategies.

‘How to Set Up SEO For Emerging Sports Betting Markets,’ will see panellists Caroline Broman (Head of SEO, Betsson), Milorad Matejic (Director of SEO & Publishing, GIG) and panel moderator Ivana Flynn (SEO Director, ComeOn) discuss the elements delegates will need to consider when entering new markets such as, successful identification and targeting of new markets, technical website set-up intricacies and building an effective SEO strategy, among others.
