Gaming hardware company Razer has entered a strategic partnership with Koelnmesse to become the esports partner of gamescom asia in 2020.

Razer will work with Koelnmesse to organise the esports and gaming zone at the event which will take place in Singapore from October 15th-18th 2020.

Mathais Kuepper, Managing Director of Koelnmesse discussed the partnership in a release: “This partnership is the perfect opportunity to bring a unique consumer experience to Gamescom Asia, and we are excited to have Razer on-board as our first official esports partner. Together, we will scale-up the playing field for the gaming industry in the region”

gamescom asia will be hosted on October 15-18th and has been dubbed the “first regional satellite event” of gamescom, which is held annually in Cologne, Germany. Slated to attract over 30,000 visitors, it’ll include esports events, a technology showcase, gaming workshops, meet-and-greet sessions, cosplay, and more.
