Our team was fascinated by these high-performance products of great certified quality. On this occasion, we decided to reach out and interview Ady Totah (CEO) to find out more unpublished details on the LuckyStreak vision.

Here is our exclusive interview:

  • Hi Ady how are you? Thanks for this interview! LuckyStreak is a very recognized and globally established iGamimg reality; how your business idea was born and how is this extraordinary journey going?

Sto bene, grazie Domenico. And thank you for the compliment. Well, I still can’t believe we are 10 years old! Erez (Cywier, CTO and Co-founder) and I had worked in the igaming industry and we saw how quickly it was growing – especially the live casino sector – and we thought that we could take the opportunity and make something different and appealing in the market. So we found the ideal location – Riga – which was already an emerging igaming hub, had great connectivity and resourceful, creative people, acquired and equipped our studio, and in 2015 we started streaming our live games.

It was exciting. It was also nerve-wracking, and as anticipated, we had to work (very) hard and retain our belief at all times. Not always easy!
A decade on, we’re finally out of start-up mode; we have established products, long-term commercial partners, scale, technical capability and resilience, some incredible product plans, and we’re bringing in industry experience and skills. And this is having a major positive impact on business performance.
2023 was a milestone year for us. We invested in products and people, and we saw huge growth in player and betting volumes, across both our live games and aggregated content, as our live base of casino operators was up by 93%. Now the challenge is to follow that!

  • High-class, well-structured and certified games are the foundation of LuckyStreak’s solid project. For those who don’t know you yet, who are you, what do you do, and what makes the games produced and marketed by your company so unique?

We’re best known as a live casino provider. We provide them to the all leading aggregators, white-label providers and ultimately over 1000 casino operators. But there is still lots to do. Primarily in the .com space, but we’re now present in Italy and we’ll have MGA Recognition very shortly, so the opportunity is big.
We focus on the most popular live games: blackjack, roulette and baccarat. We call them the “three kings” because they have been the backbone of casino gaming for centuries, and still retain their primacy. And in the live genre, we see staking levels much higher than the RNG equivalents.
We’re also concluding a relaunch of our games – blackjack and baccarat are complete and roulette is relaunching shortly. They’re mobile-first, really slick and modern UIs, enhanced social tools and just really playable.
We’re also a content aggregator; we have over 4000 high-quality slots and RNG games from leading providers like Pragmatic Play, Yggdrasil, Playson and PG Soft. SO we have double the offering, all in the same API.

  • A few months ago, you started a big commercial project in Italy, an important but very complex market to conquer. What initial balance sheets can we define?

I’m delighted to say that we have a number of deals signed, and a couple more close, to provide our live games and aggregated slots to businesses in the Italian market. This is extremely satisfying as we’ve been actively marketing ourselves, building relationships and having commercial conversations for some time. And now it’s paying off.

Italy is a crucial market: €73bn wagered online and €4.2bn gross revenues, it’s the 4th biggest in the world. But it’s also a very discerning market, with a high bar; we must deliver high quality, and be a good, reliable and consistent partner. Success comes from great products and great service and we are determined to bring that.

  • LuckyStreak is not just live games! Lucky Connect is the ideal solution to add +2500 games to online casinos from all over the world with a single integration! Could you give us some more info?

Yes. We launched LuckyConnect, our aggregation API, in 2017. It was an obvious move: we have the knowledge and experience in the industry; the contacts and customers; the tech know-how and the API. And there was a huge demand for great content at great prices, delivered with great service. And it was proved right.
LuckyConnect is no longer the younger sibling, it’s a primary product all on its own, with some seriously major customers. I like to think they choose us for the quality of the content, and the quality of the relationship we have. And the stability of our API.
2024 is a big year for LuckyConnect. We’ll shortly release a Universal Povider API (UPAPI) that will allow providers to integrate into us (and not the other way round) and so we’ll triple our onboarding capacity. This means more richness, choice and revenue capabilities for our customers.

  • Lucky Connect is a “universe” of business opportunities. Who are your current partners and which companies are next to become soon part of this important network?

We work with top-tier providers, because our customers have high expectations. Pragmatic Play, Yggdrasil, Playson, BGaming, EGT, Fugaso, Spinomenal to name a few. And most recently we’ve added Red Rake and PG Soft. And we’ve just announced deals with Playnetic and Rogue. So we’re certainly not standing still, we’re dialling it up. We have slots, RNG table games, instant games, crash games; we’re bringing on virtual sports, bingo and even a sportsbook in the near future. We will have an incredibly broad, deep, rich offering, alongside our own live games, we deliver high quality content to enhance any businesses proposition.

  • Strategic marketing, fairs and events: how important are these levers? Where, when and how can we meet – “face to face” – LuckyStreak in the coming months?

We like to get about 😊 For the last two years we’ve returned to ICE London which is the biggest igaming event of the year. The experience – and response – was amazing, and commercially it has been so beneficial. We’re investing in our brand and awareness of our products, and that’s paying off too. We’ll be at several events this year – “on foot” mostly – and we’ll have people at Sigma Asia in Manilla, CasinoBeats, iGB Live, SBC Lisbon, and Sigma Europe on Malta to name a few. They’ll be out to meet as many people as possible as well as meeting customers, partners and old friends. We’d love to meet up with your readers too.

  • To conclude, what should we expect for the future? Are there any projects and new certifications you are working on?

Well firstly we want to build our presence in Italy. Besides being an incredible country with wonderful warm people, it’s also one of the most advanced and valuable gaming markets in the world. We have a presence now and we want to build on that, we know we have products that add value to our customers and their players.
MGA Recognition is also a priority. That’s very close, and will open up a whole new – and big – market opportunity for us.
And naturally, growing our presence in these crucial markets means that we’ll been present in these amazing places much more often. What could be better than that?!
On the product side, roulette is getting the same fabulous upgrade that we gave to baccarat and blackjack. That’s coming very soon. Likewise a new game variant (I’m not saying which yet!)
And we now support sweepstakes and social currencies – a HUGE market – and we’re getting a lot of interest there.
So 2024 is looking very bright indeed!

Thank you so much Ady, for your time and for this interview 😊 . We wish best with LuckyStreak!
