STOP WTA: space for the Fed Cup semi-finals, scheduled France – Romania in Rouen and Australia – Belarus in Brisbane

Only one precedent between France and Romania played in Philadelphia in 1976 and won by Romania 3-0. The challenge between Australia and Belarus is instead unprecedented. For Belarus it could be the second Fed Cup final after the one lost in 2017 in Misnk against the United States, for Romania the first ever, for Australia the number 18 (the first since 1993) and for France the fifth (the last in 2016).
